Hi, i just had a kidney stone finally pass and made some changes in my diet..started eating a lot of fruit and some veggies...not too much but i guess more than what my body is used to.

I feel some pain in my left lower abs..sometimes its up..and my upper back hurts now. I have been burping and passing gas more than usual.

Is this just a cause of gas? any thoughts? Suggestions?

Paul......Anytime you change your diet there's a possiblity of digestive upset. Adding the fruits and veggies that you didn't normally eat most probably has caused you to have the extra gas. Cut back on them for a week or so and see if it helps. Then add them back a little at a time to give your system time to adjust. Gas pains can extend into the shoulders and back.
