Help! Weird Lip Lesion. Doc can't fix yet - Open to All Other Health Topics Message Board

I drink bud light beer regularly, the night before it happened I sat and drank with my buddy. In the morning I woke up i started to feel a lil pimple on my lip.

I didn't thought of it as anything big, as time past 2-3 weeks.. It didn't go away. It gets bigger. 4 weeks later I went to see a doctor and they thought I had cold sore which the doctor gave me medicine paste to put on but didn't' help

A second visit to the doctor office she took my blood and pee sample and told me to go see a specialist. (btw the result of lab. test came back with no problem)

The specialist said I need surgery. He didn't give me any pill or medicine. I said ok, since he's the expert

The specialist did surgery on my lip lesion and took sample to the lab for testing. (again the result came back with no problem)

3-4 weeks later i go to check up with doctor again.. and the lesion started to come back.

He gave me a paste to put on my lip and He Scheduled for me to see him again at the end of this month.

I just don't know what is happing with me and I don't think the doctor know exactly what is it. On my last visit to him, He talked about having me get surgery again.

when it gets big.. it's in bright red color.
Then it will go down couple days from now then it comes back to big red again. It doesn't hurt. I think it's been 3 months now since i have this.

Any info.?

now thats strange.did your doc give you any indication of just what this actually was?the only "bright red' type of dot type of 'lesion' i can think of would be like an angioma or nevis?what exactly did the path report state about it?they had to have some level of indication of what it actually consists of.thats what the path report kind of does.it IDs the lesion and checks for any cancer cells.is there ANY tiny little vessels that stem from this or is this just strictly the red dot type of thing with nothing surrounding it?look up nevis and angioma images and see if this is what it looks like and let me know,K? FB

Yes, he took sample from my surgery and the result comes back as no problem. He said it was caused by a saliva (hope i spell this correctly) glands in my mouth. It's not flowing correctly on it's normal route something like that. I forgot the name of it he told me. and so he did surgery on me to fix it but the problem still remain.. After a second visit he said it might be some stuff left inside from the surgery so he gave me a different paste to put on then go seee him again. The paste isn't working.. I put it on twice a day..

Symptoms; If i eat something hot it tend to get bigger and have lil fluid side.
98% is not fluid..because In the beginning i thought it was so i tried to poke it with a sharp object and nothing come out..

I might seek a diff doc soon but i'm give him a one more or couple more shots at it.

I have look at angioma pictures on the internet. I don't believe that's what I have.

My lesion goes up and no.. it will go down within 3-4 days..then couple more days later it gets big red again. it repeat this cycle
