dizzy, feeling disconnected

My son is 23 years old. He has been having episodes of dizziness, disconnect and heart palpatations at times a mettalic taste in his mouth. He was sent to the ER in Kansas City from dizziness and disconnect and ending up on the floor of a resturant, and they kept him for 3 days running test. EKG, EEG, CAT scan, MRI saw a Nuerologist and Ear nose and throat specialist. Showed nothing. Perfectly normal. They said he has anxiety. Well we dont feel it is. He knows when he wakes up if he is going to have a miserable day or not. He lives in Nashville and wants to make an appt with a Nuerologist.

I have something very similar.
I feel sort of detached from reality 24/7 (if thats what you mean but disconnected), get dizzy easily and my heart palpitates a lot. I also get tingly feelings in my fingers or on the tip of my tongue.
I wonder if we're experiencing the same thing. It's been going on for 3 months now =\

Re: dizzy, feeling disconnected

Sounds like anxiety. I have the same thing and I have been through so many tests. Everything is fine. It seems he had a great check up so be thankful for that.

He should see a therapist.
