I have high cortisol levels (over 100). My dr. says it's not that high and didn't do anything about it. Along with the high cortisol, I have a small growth on my pituitary gland that she said was too small to be concerned with. (found via CT scan of my brain). Also found a tumor/growth in my abdomen. Finding out just this much took ages and many tests. ....blah blah blah. (I hated this dr.)

I put all of this on the backburner because I've had so many health problems over the past several years (osteopenia, hip replacement, severe osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, hyper-sensitive to light/sound). Basically I have been miserable, in pain, tired. A rheumatologist put me on 50K units of vitamin D/week and that helped me more than anything. (he is now out of my medical network).

Recently I went to an ENT for sinus problems and my pcp said to bring the reports from the endro with me. The ENT says I need to see a neurosurgeon for my pituitary gland. Does anyone know of good neurosurgeons? I've been through so much the last few years, I'm not afraid, just sick of inept drs. Also could use a good endocrinologist (the one I went to is

not a good communicator and the office is chaotic, so I won't be going back there.
