| Maxillary Frenectomy
Hi guys, I had a gap between my upper front teeth and went through orthodontics to close the gap. My orthodontist said I need to go thorough a procedure called maxillary frenectomy. A laser would be used for this procedure which would cut something out from above my front two teeth. Is there any major risks with this procedure? Can it cause upper lip numbness or damage any nerves? If anyone knows anything about this procedure please let me know. I've been freaking out!
