| convulsions while passed out?
Hello everyone,
I had a quick question. Just today I took my girlfriend to the doctors to get some blood work done. She is healthy, this was just for a physical. She has never had her blood taken that she can remember. She is about 4'9'', and ate breakfast. At about 10:10am she had her blood drawn. All went well, then when it was over she passed out for about 10 seconds. Maybe after 2 seconds of passing out she had one or two quick convulsions. Nothing overly violent, but nonetheless, I was concerned. I haven't dealt with many people passing out, but when I have, I have never seen convulsions. Can anyone relate to this? Does this happen to some people?
The only reason I didn't totally freak out is due to the fact that she had blood drawn, and nothing injected into her. If she had something injected then I would think maybe she had a reaction to whatever she had injected. But the case is she simply had blood drawn.
Thanks for any input. I am going to ask a doctor as well, but I simply cannot stop thinking about it, so I decided to give this a try. Thanks again!
