Wondering if any folks on here can give me some advice. This morning my husband who is 35 suddenly felt pressure in the bridge of his nose and then some blood trickled out of his nostril. For about an hour afterwards his tongue felt numb. I noticed something was wrong when I came down to speak to him and his speech sounded slighly odd, a bit like when you've been to the dentist. He seemed to pronounce the letter S with a lisp.
I asked him what was wrong and he said he was OK but he did not sound right. After a short while his speech seemed to correct itself but I have been worried all day as to what it could be.
He won't go the doctor (he is fine now) but I think he should be checked out. He is not overweight, but he hasn't had his blood pressure checked for years and he does smoke regularly.
Does anyone have any idea what this could have been? I am very worried.
Thank you.
