hi am suleman from pakistna
am reaaly worried as doc said to ma wife who is in 19 week dat the baby has dilated kidneys and we hav to terminate the kidneys
its our first baby n we r so upset rather our complete famly is upset
plz advice me wat shud i do
a. shud i wait n see may b it cures at its own
b. shud i do as ma doctor said to me
c. plz advice me

It would depend on what is causing the dilation of the kidneys.

Ask your doctor for specific information as to what the problem is and whether it can be corrected or if it will correct by itself.

Some causes will correct itself and others do not.

If the problem does not correct then the kidneys and lungs will not develop as they should.

The baby at present is not able to get rid of the fluid and it is causing a backup in the kidneys. This can be caused by several different things. Treating the cause may save your baby, unless it is to extensive.
