where do i report a doctor being inappropriate?

Where/how do I report my Doctor being inappropriate? Not behavior I'm misinterpreting or could have mistaken for inappropriate and grossly unprofessional, rather specific instances that absolutely crossed the line?

Besides possibly an attorney, you should send a certified letter to the Florida Medical Board and a copy to the Federation of State Medical Boards.

You can start online here: http://www.doh.state.fl.us/mqa/enforcement/enforce_home.htm

Re: where do i report a doctor being inappropriate?

First & Foremost, you need to contact your state medical board. As the above poster suggested, find their web site on-line. It will more than likely give you instructions on how to file a complaint and will also have further contact information.

If your doctor treated you inappropriately, he needs to be punished. I won't ask for details as that is something private between you and the person(s) you are comfortable telling, but suffice to say that this is NOT acceptable. Doctors are kind of in a position of "power" when it comes to treating patients and they should never, for any reason cross the line.

Good luck, and I hope you are able to get this taken care of quickly.

Please be careful ,check to see if anyone else has filed on him,the medical profession covers each other and even black balls people who go after one of them.document everything and if you return to him bring a witness / friend with you.
