did you actually see your own doc after the club did those labs? i am assuming you must have since you do have that referral to a liver specialist. one thing that really shows the best picture of the overall liver or any organ for that matter is doing at least an ultrasound ALONG with any lab work. that is what really will give the best overall view of whats up with your liver. how was yout alk phos and bili, okay, or even at the high end of normal ranges?
there can be sooo many different possible reasons for any labs to actually be out of the norm that it would really be very hard to say here just what your actual reason is. are your on or have you been on ANY meds or suppliments lately that could have affected function? unfortunetly i do think you will have to just try and be patient til you see that specialist and they can narrow down possibles with some further more in depth testing. i have both a liver and kidney disease myself, so believe me, i can relate to the lab crap.
