| Low blood pressure: What does it mean?
Yesterday on a routine visit to the doctor a nurse intern took my blood pressure, and she said "Oh, that's low" in a surprised tone. The doctor is known for only using nurse interns in his practice, and his office has a bad reputation overall. Regardless, maybe this means something. What is considered a normal blood pressure reading? What possible diseases or ailments is low blood pressure indicative of? I'd appreciate any answer. Thanks.
P.S.- Even though this doctor has a bad reputation, he is quick with the prescriptions, the appointments, and the referrals (aka, not so much politics and red tape with him).
