dealing with undiagnosed illnesses and trying to manage a job...

Hi Im just looking for some advice.

I am 20 yrs old and for the last yr and a half have been suffering with symptoms such as muscle/joint pain, diziness, swollen glands, unrefreshed sleep, nite sweats, bad bowel, and genrally extreme fatigue.

I have been going to the doctors so much had all the blood tests done and xrays and cannot find anything wrong with me athritus has shown up once but then did not show again and I have rehmatiod factor but the doctors have told me this has no relevance.

Along with the stress of not knowing what is wrong with me my work are really strict about taking time off sick you get put on a disaplinery for it and after the third time u get the sack (or try and make it a yr without being off ill) has anyone else suffered with an undiagnosed illness that they havnt been able to explain to their work why they are off so much?

I just dont know weather to quit while Im ahead and go before they sack me but i have already lost enough of my life to whatever is causing me to feel like this. If anyone has had the same problem please any ideas on how to get around it I have tried offering to cut my days down and make up any hrs i miss but still not having any luck.

thanks

sophie

Can you get a doctor to back you up with a written statement about how much or little you should work? Also, are you seeing a specialist of any kind? This is the only thing I can think of that would help you get a diagnosis, is to see an internal med. doc since they specialize in what tests to do and diagnosing the problem.
