cure for a very sticky phlegm
how to cure cough with very sticky phlegm? i can hardly breath...it feels like something's in my throat that can't be expectorated...it's blocking my airway passage...what must i do to get rid of this situation....it really makes me feel nervous....i need help

Ask a pharmacist for some guaiphenesian or Bisolvon, take as directed on the pack.

zinnia: boil a pot of water and breathe in the steam. Put a towel around you to keep the steam in. You could also try a nasal spray. The spray goes up the nose and down the back of the throat to loosen it up. Try to keep your house moist to help you breathe better.

Mucinex helps to thin mucous.

As other poster mentioned, use a warm mist vaporizor to keep air moist.

Be sure to determine the cause and treat that too.
