numbness that is best described like socks that have bunched up in my shoe
I get a numbness in my feet that is best described as feeling like my socks have bunched up under portions of my toes and the balls of my feet - it comes and goes but is coming more than going lately- it can last a whole day- exercise helps biut even workiing out 6 days a week I still have it - I am 55 fit active -6'1

Sounds like the beginning of Morton's Neuroma. Find a good sports med ortho who does feet - possibly someone who works on athletes and dancers as this is common with them.
