Is it normal to love something you hate after quitting energy drinks?.

Right so I was a regular energy drink user (3 mega monsters a day every day), I quit that overnight and have gone about two weeks now without a energy drink... now I'm starting to love the taste of peach, and I have no idea why because I used to hate it.

So, is this regular?. Are my taste buds just changing now because I'm not eating as much suger?. Just wondering!.
