Anytime you vomit blood, especially bright red blood, you should see a doctor ASAP. You might still be bleeding inside.

If you drink often, you might very well have an ulcer. Alcohol dissolves blood clots and will get an ulcer going quite badly and with it still in your blood stream, it can continue to cause bleeding.

See your doc. Even if you don't bleed any further you need to find out why you are bleeding before it happens again.....next time it might not stop.
