Last Wednesday I had my right arm laid out under the hood of my car and the hood slipped and slammed down on my arm. It hurt pretty bad but I still can move it okay. It began bruising and swelling immediately. The bruises covered my forearm but are now fading. They are still tender to touch. The spot where the hood hit exactly is now a pale lump with bruising around it that is very sore to touch. Is this normal? Or should it be checked out? I work as a waitress and carrying trays was really hurting but I was able to do it.
