Re: High bp

Regarding your lungs, it sounds like you may have seasonal bronchitis or maybe you have mild asthma that is exacerbated in the winter.

Your blood pressure should not be high even if it's only through the winter.

Have you seen your doctor for any of this?

What are your blood pressure #s?
Are you on any medications at all? For the BP or the chest.

Re: High bp

You are on quite a lot of meds! I'm glad to hear your chest is so much better.

Your BP seems to be okay for now, although a systolic number of 132 is a little bit high. Doctors like to see 120 or below. However, given that you had a reading of 110 at some point probably means you are averaging a healthy pressure. If you have your own home monitor, it might be helpful to monitor your BP at rest for the next month.
Anyway, follow your doctor's advice and stay with the drugs another month and then see how you are feeling. By the way, there is a special board on these healthboards for "High and Low Blood Pressure". If your blood pressure presents a problem again, do post directly on that forum-There are a lot of very knowledgeable folks there!
