| Acid Reflux, Tonsillitis or something else?
Please Help!
Here is the story and I'm trying to make it as short as possible. > I got my gallbladder removed 5 months ago. One month later It felt like I had a fish bone stuck in my throat. The Doctor told me it looks like strep and sends me out the door with antibiotics and never tested for it. The "fish bone" feeling goes away.
Two weeks later now with a bump next to my uvula I go and see an ENT. With no test he gives me antibiotics and antiviral. I come back two weeks later and he tells me I should get my tonsils out. This is where the sore throat starts and the hard of breathing starts. It doesn't feel like asthma.
My throat still hurts and I still don't feel comfortable with breathing. On one of my really bad days I decide to go to another doctor at an urgent care place and he tells me my tonsils look fine and I must have anxiety. I tested negative for strep.
4 months later every single day since this started my throat hurts. I have good days and I have bad days. Finally I decide to go to another ENT and she said it's my allergies. < Like wow, I don't think so but whatever.
OK again 4 months later now I have another appointment with the last ENT because I just got a new symptom. I woke up yesterday feeling like a million bucks. Like all my problems were gone. I was once again healthy until the afternoon. I was doing a job interview and had to do a lot of talking. After the interview my throat was in pain like I talked to much but almost felt like it was damaged. Next thing I know I refuse to say a single word or noise due to the pain that is in my voice box. I went to bed figuring I would sleep it off but today my voice box is in pain. The only thing I can do is whisper or I will hurt my voice box.
Summary:
OK so sore throat, tonsils look kinda big but not swollen, thing growing next to my uvula, every now and then my uvula looks swollen on my bad days, one time symptom is painful to talk, this has been lasting ever since a month after my gallbaldder removal 4 months ago. Is this Acid Reflux, Tonsillitis or something else?
