Re: wet leg sensation

It sounds like he is experiencing what they call "paresthesia". Paresthesias are sensations in/on the skin like burning, wetness, cold, itching, tingling, *****ling, etc when no apparent cause is seen.

Parasthesias are common in alcoholics and metabolic disorders like diabetes, hypothyroidism, and hypoparathyroidism. It can also be due to a neurological disorder.

They can also be due to peripheral vascular disease, vitamin B12 deficiency or malnutrition.

If it continues, your husband should get his blood sugar and thyroid hormones levels evaluated. Also, taking vitamin a B12 supplement for some days might be the answer, (if it's a B12 deficiency).

How long has he had this sensation?

Re: wet leg sensation

People who have a spine problem, usually a lower lumbar nerve irritation or compression from a herniated disc, for example, also experience this type of feeling.
