Vomiting in the morning, Nauseous for a few hours.
Hello Healthboards community, I am in need of your help.
For the past year or so I've began to feel very nauseous when I wake up and sometimes this even causes me to throw up. Strangely, doing this almost immediately gets rid of the nausea but does little to increase my appetite. It is very uncommon for me to eat breakfast in the morning on weekdays as I am just not hungry and seeing or smelling any food just turns me off completely. It's something I've never heard of before and I'm hoping to get some information on what to do from here. Lately I have noticed that smoking pot after a little while of being awake really changes things and gets my stomach ready for food.
Over the next few days I will attempt several different strategies such as not eating before bed. I hope I can get some answers.

Sounds like post-nasal drip to me to. It's the ONLY thing that makes me feel sick to my stomach and it shows up either in the morning (because you've been lying down all night sleeping and swallowing crud) or in the evening (because you've been swallowing stuff during the day.) I've been struggling with it all year and the doc gave me a nasal inhaler to help dry it up.
