Question Now what?

Just recently diagnosed with TMJ. Can not find any info with much hopefully information. Is there any hope? Does anyone know of inprovement with a splint?

You might try the TMJ board here as there is a lot of chatter there. MOre so than than here.

There is a lot of advice available on the TMJ board.

Some splints can be helpful for TMJ and others can make it worse.

I have had good success with my lower mandibular repositioning splint myself.

It is really important to find a dentist with a lot of training in treating TMJD issues.
