I have sometimes felt something similar to a cloud in front of my head. It has seemed to come on when I was very busy, focussing on the one subject intensely for a long time.
I am not sure what you meant about how you felt when you were walking, but I would feel "disconnected" from my body when doing things, including walking, for a while after. It was as though I wondered how could my body be moving??
I found once I had moved, eaten or changed my activities substantially for a while that the symptoms would improve. I have also found that these symptoms would have "phases".
The biggest way to snap me out of these phases though was to get anxious! If some sort of emergency occurred the "cloud" or "fog" sensation would go, and I would forget about it for a while.
