| pain - inner arm, red, tender to touch.
i've noticed for the last month my inner arm is really tender.
left arm
wrist to elbow
two inches approx up from elbow (bicep?)
anyways, it was there, and i noticed it after getting a disaster IV a couple of months ago, she put the iv above my inner wrist half way up my arm, gouged me out a fewtimes finally got it in and OUCH.. it hurt. i got a nice bruise, and the bruise actually moved up my arm along the vein, only the width of a pen, but up halfway to the crook of my elbow. it went away pretty fast but i noticed the sore arm after this.
okay so i got my wisdom teeth out on friday. got another IV, this time top of my hand, she actually did an excellent job getting the needle in. but now my wrist is sore, the same areas are REALLY sore now, and i have redness going up my inner arm on the side. not streaky or bruisey, just like burned skin from the sun type red.
went to the doctor and he said my lymph node in my elbow was inflamed (makes sense as the pain is kinda radiating from the elbow).
he only saw me for like three minutes though. is it just 'irritation' and do i just need anti inflammatory cream for this?
what about blood clots?
self care for not straining it further.
how long will this last?
is it a nerve?
why is my skin red?
still worried about blood clots!
anyone know what this is?
