fractured ring finger

I fractured my ring finger on left hand in a powerdrill accident. powerdrill twisted finger off to the side. It didn't really hurt I thought I just dislocated it. I pulled it back in place and pushed it down toward the palm of my hand and taped it so I could fininsh the job. Later I took the tape off and it was tender. Worked the next day but had a splint on it to protect it. By the end of the day it was very swollen and hurting. Had Xray taken nuckle was badly broken, dislocated and fragments and some from an older fracture of the same place. I saw a specialist and had surgery. A motion device was connected to my finger with 3 pins. I had physical therapy with it on for several weeks. when the device was removed I still had therapy. After a few weeks it started to become turn toward my little finger to the point the little finger overlaps the ring finger. Doctor says the joint is in place and doesn't know why it in crooked. The knuckle is very large and crooked and the first joint will not bend. My finger gets caught on things and things fall right through the fingers. Will another surgery help?
