broken/sprained finger
my son hurt his ring finger on his left hand a week ago- it's his throwing hand(plays baseball) went to a tournament-was able to play and bend the finger but it is still swollen- going to doc today- what do you think?

Sounds sprained to me. I've broken various fingers three times in the past couple of years, when I had broken mine I really couldn't move it without a lot of pain. Good Luck!
