Elbow surgery at 19

Hey guys so I went to a Sports Specialist Orthopedic at University of Florida. I am getting anthroscopic surgery next week. He saw the catscan and says my joint touches when I straighten my arm with heavy resistance. So he is going to shave a lil bit since its so sharp. So I guess I got a bonespur? He is also going to take care of the swelling. And give me 2 cortisone shots for my tennis elbows. I forgot the name of the joint he is going to shave. Olecranon Fossa? I forgot.

He said I should start moving it right away. So I am not going to be in an elbow support or whatever. I should be lifting weight normally within weeks!

Will I be in pain after surgery? He says I dont need physical therapy since its a mechanical injury.
