Re: HELP! Just had an OCD Lesion repair
You might want to repost your questions in the foot problems section of this board. There are many of us OCD people there - ranging from drilling to OATS, to fusion and well, replacement.
I had drilling for my OCD and the first 2 weeks are the worst in terms of pain. Speak with your dr as they should have sent you home with something to help with pain. Make sure to keep your foot elevated as I am sure you already know - when it's down not only does the swelling increase but so does the exploding pain. Also remember to follow your non weight bearing orders.
As far as nerve pain, not sure what you are feeling to know for sure it is nerve pain, but talk to your dr about that as well. Unfortunately the pain meds don't often work on nerve pain and they may give you something like Lyrica, Neurontin or Gabapentin once they confirm it is nerve pain you are having.
Having a fever is not good. If it continues you should call your doctor.
Hang in there, it will get better, I promise!
