Surgery for torn labrum in shoulder

I'm scheduled to have surgery next week for a torn labrum in my shoulder and possible torn rotator cuff. The doctor can see the tear in the labrum pretty pronounced on an MRI and I've had alot of pain over the last few months from it (this is an injury from 10 years ago that the doctor said has just gotten worse over the years). He said he will not know until he gets in there, but may have to put an anchor in as well.

Does anyone know what the possible recovery time for this would be? I am a diver and although I do not use my arms during diving, I do use them to pull myself up on the boats. Also I own a very big motorcycle and the weather is perfect for riding right now. When could I expect to resume my normal activities?

Thanks.
