Question Ankle pain recurring

I sprained my ankle early last week, went to the hospital Tuesday and they wrapped it and told me to stay off it for a few days, but to come back and try crutches if it wasn't better by Friday.

It felt better until Sunday, when it started to hurt again. Now the pain in my ankle comes and goes when I walk...

I am going to the hospital tomorrow to be fitted for a walker for when I have surgery next month.

Should I see about getting crutches or a walking boot from OT for my ankle? Or wait a few days and see if it gets better?
