| Fosamax vs Actonel
Just talked to my doctor about a recent study that I read in the Wallstreet Journal that said Fosamax was better than Actonel and equally tolerated. I asked because my doctor has me on Actonel. His response was that Fosamax had almost two times the BMD increases than Actonel and he did say that it looked as if the two were equally tolerated. He also stated that it looked like more patients that were on Fosamax built bone compared to Actonel. I guess he meant that more patients respond to the drug, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I asked him to swtich to Fosamax.
Also, Has anyone heard about this drug called Boniva? You take it like once a month?
