Zometa & Aredia complications - Osteoporosis Message Board

Anyone have any info on the osteonecrosis of the jaw these IV's can cause. I'm afraid to get either one as I have osteoarthritis of the jaw joints and had trouble healing up the bone on the last extraction. Now I need another crowned root canelled tooth out - upper with roots in the sinuses and do not need any more problems. The do seems to be pushing for IV as Evista is not working and there really isn't anything else I can take. HELP!

I don't know if you can use Miacalcin Nasal Spray or not, but ask your Dr. about it. I can't take Evista or Fosomax because of the side effects. My health problems cause them to not be an option.
