I've been MIA for a couple of weeks and am just getting caught up on the posts that accumulated in my absence. I read yours, ThinBones, in which you wrote about feeling achy and blah and were concerned that it might have been due to the Forteo.

How are you feeling now? I hope much better!

Thanks so much for your concern, it is much appreciated. I feel better and I am so relieved. I also recently started taking a generic Zantac, about the same time I started feeling lousy, so I went and bought the name brand and I feel better, it may be coincidence but it may not. I have had to take Zantac ever since I took Fosamax. May also be coincidence but I think not. May never know the culprit but I wonder if the fillers they put in drugs can cause you to feel "off" so to speak. I am continuing the Forteo and hope for the bone-building best!! Thanks again!!

Oh, I am glad to hear that you are feeling better!

Yes, the switch back to name-brand Zantac and your improved well-being might have been a coincidence, but I know I wouldn't want to take a chance and mess with a good thing! Between sales and coupons, you should be able to keep the cost of the name brand down a little bit. Don't be shy about asking friends to save Zantac coupons for you. Do you belong to one of the big warehouse clubs? Don't they sell some OTC meds in multi-pack packaging?
