Hello everyone: I've been reading pages of information at this stie, and although still confused, I think I will stay. I believe in learning from those who are dealing with the same things. I've been doing lots of research on my own since having a -2.7 score (lumbar spine) on DEXA scan. I'm 53. My doctor just said time to take Fosomax but I just can't try it now without trying other natural things first. My mother got very sick while taking it and I have read all the horror stories. I've struggled with lower back issues on and off for 25 years, and recently over the last 8 months. I have no clue if it is osteoporosis related, have been to the chiropractor, and the constant exercising is helping...I think. I have always been active, but obviously in not the best ways. I've taken up weight bearing exercise, including walking, and I do once a week Hatha/Restorative yoga. I do "something" every single day. I have a good diet, but have added soy milk or soy chai, a good multi-vitamin and extra C. But, I am clearly sure there are other better vitamin supplements, and my search landed me at this board. I don't have a clue how bad -2.7 is really, but I trust it is somewhat reversable without drugs. I will thank all of you in advance for the information and support you post here. I have learned a great deal through my own research, but I clearly am trying to make a decision on the best vitamin supplements. I have noted the posts about E-Zorb, and others. Any info is appreciated. I promise my next posts won't be so long.
