hi
i wondered if i could start a thread where people can post their pre treatment t-scores, what they think were their risk factors,what treatment they are using, and post-scores if anyone has had a second scan???

i will start!

RISK FACTORS
am 35 yo female with 17years of eating disorders. currently am 5'4" and 89lbs
extensive family history
poor dairy/calcium all life
4 pregnancies and extended breastfeeding therefore extended periods of amenorrhea

PRE T-SCORES
bone density scan done in march 2006 due to concerns re weight etc
BMD of L1 to L4 -2.9
BMD of L1 -3.2
BMD of femoral neck -2.2

TREATMENT
Started EZorb 8 tabs per day
Started contraceptive pill for oestrogen
Started walking and weight training
Resisting medication at this point

will have retest in march 2007 hoping at least not deteriorated and even better improved

Hi Presson: Your thread really caught my eye, and I think it would be a good way to exchange info, but since I'm a newbie here, I don't know what the thinking is on giving out that type of info, even though I will probably do it. I just can't do it right now because I don't have all of the info you would like at my fingertips.

Hopefully you'll get some responses, so we can all see various progression and regressions vs different types of treatments.

Talk to you soon when I have everything compiled. Just wanted to let you know I think this is a good idea "as long" as "others" and the "Administrators/Moderators
