Back Pain - Osteoporosis Message Board

Here i am again. Feeling very scared. Awoke today with back pain in same area. Midback. Does anyone know how the doctor would test for a fracture? Do they x-ray it. Any feedback would be appreciated. Feeling very alone.

When my mother had vertebral fractures, her doctor, did an xray. After she had a few, he did not xray because he did not do anything for them. She just had to wait a few weeks and the pain would subside.

I was just recently checked for a fracture, and they did an x-ray, but only because I have rods and screws in my back. I don't have the results yet, but keeping my fingers crossed.
