I took my first, and maybe last Boniva at 6:30 am this morning. It is now almost noon. I have the most terrible headache! I'm wondering if anyone else has gotten a bad headache from Boniva? I stopped taking Actonel because of back pain, so I'm not too sure how smart I am in taking this once a month Boniva that my Gyne ordered! Headaches aren't listed as a side effect of Boniva, though.
taape,
My headache finally subsided towards evening. It was a long day with the headache! Last night I couldn't sleep and had to take 3 extra strengh tylenols at 2 am because I had terrible pain in my left jaw. I do have a small cold, so I am not sure if the cold settled in my jaw or if it was the Boniva. Doesn't one of these medicines clain jaw pain?
Did you have the intravenous Boniva yet? Let me know how you're doing with it if you already did.

I took Actonel for 7 weeks and began having tinnitus and the most severe headaches. It took me a whilke to realize it was the Actonel. So none of these drugs for me. Calcium and exercise is my way.
