I am going to be stopping my forteo treatment soon and will have to go on a bisphos. I do not look forward to this but
... Recently another poster indicated that her docs told her that she could follow the forteo with the 35mg. fosamax rather than the higher dose70mg. This just sounds so much better to me and while it is still fosamax, it would be half the dose. I won't be able to discuss this with my doc for a bit , but hoped that perhaps some other people with experience with the lower dose could comment.
I am looking for any information about people taking the lower dose. Specifically what your doc had to say about whether it would do the job. Of course , if there are any forteo users who then transitioned to the lower dose ,I would love to hear about your experience.
I am just hoping that this lower dose might work out.
