Taape: That's sad when a small family business disappears, especially since you really liked their product. Yogurt is certainly good for you and easily digestible, so I'd say keep trying other brands until you can find one you like almost as much as the original.
I don't know if you're eating it plain or flavored, but if it's the plain stuff (which I could never eat straight no matter how hard I try), maybe you could add your own ingredients (honey-sweetened fruit puree, maple syrup) to make it taste better. We just bought an ice-cream maker, and brands that I dislike because of their consistency are entirely different once they're turned into frozen yogurt. If you don't like milk straight, you can do the same idea by adding frozen fruit-and maybe a sweetener-and making a blender smoothie.
A naturopath I saw recently said it's definitely better to get your calcium from food as opposed to supplements. So try some new things-maybe almond milk or rice milk too-until you find something you enjoy
