I know this has been discussed before but I still have a question.
I currently take Calcium carbonate. From what I have read here on the posts it requires food (stomach acid) to dissolve and be absorbed. I take Zantac (before breakfast and dinner) for to decrease acid so does that mean the calcium is doing me no good? Calcium Citrate, I have read, does not need food / acid, so would I be better to be using it? Also on one post they said take the one with magnesium and D and another said never take calcium with magnesium, so does anyone have an opinion? I am totally confused.
