Boy, I sure hope not and will be watching this thread for replies. In case you haven't figured it out, I take Forteo and certainly don't want any extra pounds.

I was on Forteo for 15 months and lost 5 pounds, but I also changed jobs where I walk for 2 hours daily, so that could have something to do with it too.

I suspect your weight loss is due to all that walking. Good for you! I know walking is good for us and I enjoy taking my dog for walks several times a day. Haven't lost 5 pounds, but that's another story.

I didn't gain any weight but there was some more fat or something around the waist. There's an old post about weight around the waist from Forteo on this same topic. I don't know what it was but I sort of recall that my abdomen stuck further out. Maybe some what swollen from the repeated injections.
