Not long diagnosed with osteoporosis. I have been doing a lot of reading and keep hearing that the acid-alkaline balance of food has a lot to do with osteoporosis. The recommended balance is 80% alkaline to 20% acid. There are tons of websites with lists of foods with their ph levels. Has anyone gone for this change in diet and had positive results? It is hard to tell from testimonies on websites that are pushing supplements or books on the topic. Thanks.
I've just recently heard about this "connection" to osteoperosis, as well as other conditions. I'm not sure how we'd know what our current PH level is...? If there's any scientific data on it, etc. I'd be interested in reading if someone has any further information on it!
