For anyone not familiar with my dx, in 2006 it was -3 in lumbar spine. With strontium , diet and exercise I was able to reduce these scores by 2008 to 2.2. My t-scores are exactly the same as a year ago. They stayed at 2.2 in the lumbar spine. Still in the Osteopenia stage. I will know more about the hips etc. when the actual doctor who ordered the scan either calls or sends me a transcript. Would have liked an increase, but have to be pleased there was no decrease. Also feeling maybe stopping the strontium was not a good idea. Will be starting it up again tonight. Have also been drinking tons of coffee, have to cut back on that. Be more careful about my diet. Also chemo and radiation last year probably didn't do my body much good, but thankfully cured my cancer. And I have been put under general anesthesia this year 3 times. Once to have a port removed, and two dental surgeries. Well, at least I don't have osteoporosis anymore. I will continue with my exercising, and strength training, and hope for a better score next year. Maybe, I was wrong to stop the strontium.
