I don't think anything will happen but Fosamax has to be taken for longer than one month in order to be of any benefit to your bones. I took 3 weekly pills and then I stopped because my stomach was on fire from the medication. My stomach went back to normal. Stopping the medication made me feel alot better.


Are you switching to another medication or alternative treatment?

I have just decided to exercise and take calcium as well as vitamin D. I take 750 mg of calcium 2x a day and the D 800 mg/ I think I should take more D but I heard it stays in your fatty tissue and can build up to toxic levels, so I'm erring on the side of caution. Someone said Strontium is helpful, but I've not checked into that yet.

Nothing i took it for years and had bad side effects,,I think i have jaw problems from the drug ..get off it
