Protos 2g

Hi Peoples

Is anyone or has anyone been on protos 2g. I have just started taking it for Osteo and am waiting to see if My body will cope with it.
Any information would be good

HI Lil, welcome to the board . I'm guessing you're referring to Protelos, the script form of strontium used in Europe. We can't get it here in the US, but many of us are taking the OTC strontium citrate and are seeing improvement in our bone density. I'm not sure what kind of info your looking for so if you could post your questions, we'll be glad to answer them. I can tell you that i've been taking it for over 3 years without any side effects. take care...phyllis

Hi Lil, strontium renalate and strontium citrate are basically the same thing. Renalate is a salt that is added to make it patentable, since a natural substance can't be patented. One of the main differences is that what you are taking comes in packets and is mixed with water, what we get here is strontium citrate in capsules. I've read the info online that comes with the Protelos and it is very comprehensive. Where do you live?
