. Coffee in moderation, a couple of cups a day, won't leach calcium or affect your bone density as long as you consume adequate daily calcium. I've also read that if you put a splash of milk in your coffee that will offset the acid. Acid free coffee would be a better choice, but if the real thing is what you enjoy have it....in moderation. I enjoy a couple of cups in the morning to get my day going. take care..phyllis
