I have slightly high PTH, Ionized Ca and Ca. Been to Cleveland Clinic 5 times. Went to a Cancer Doctor also. I have bone pain, fatigue, headaches and the "Fog." I am fighting to get surgery. I had a scan and one section didn't drain well. Had to fight to get a ultrasound. It showed 4mm and 8mm adelomas. I can't go on much longer. Been out of work since April. I have an appointment with a surgeon in a couple of weeks. My Vitamin D is 17. How can I convince him to do the surgery. I've researched this for months and it seems the answer, but the hesistation to not do the surgery is mind boggling. Why are so many doctors against it? There are studies and patient testimonials, but they persist is not doing the surgery. Thanks.
