That's interesting. I used to work for a doctor who is quite famous for his expertise on fibromyalgia and he recommended chondroitin and glucosamine with a mixture of different minerals. I think this is geared more for the patient's with degenerative conditions of the joints as it helps to build cartilage between bones and hydrates the cartilage. I do not know of any bone strengthening or building properties in it except as stated with the cartilage. My info may be old though; perhaps there is new info out there. Hope this helps.
