My mother is on fosamax, and for the past month or so has been commenting about how so many times her upper arm/shoulder area aches. She says it isn't bursitis because she had that in her other shoulder before and is familiar with how that feels.
hmmmmm. What's a person to do? Stop taking meds that will help your bones then?
Such a double-edged sword with so many meds. Take something to fix one problem and end up with others from side effects. ARRGGGHHH
My doc wanted to start me on Actonel and some other med that I can't remember the name of. One is once a week, the other is daily. But it was not fosamax. I chose not to fill the scripts. I'm going to try just natural ways, extra calcium, D, K, etc......
My body does not like meds. Heck, even the round-the-clock dosing of ibuprofen I have to take sometimes for spinal and muscle issues affects me in less than enjoyable ways!
You should definitely bring this up with your doc. Perhaps you can try a different route. |
