I have recently heard of this as well. I did a search too, and it was not clear to me how much inulin you have to get in order to reap the benefits. Also, it seems to me that you could acheive the same benefit by simply taking more calcium (taking 600 mg seems like it would still be better than taking 300 but increasing absorption by 18%, you know...)
I saw that certain foods, including bananas, contain inulin but I haven't seen any lists of how much inulin is in these foods - anyone? I'll look some more, too -
